dc.description.abstract This thesis explores the MS6001B gas turbine used at the Sidi R’cine Refinery in Algeria. It focuses on its operation in a combined cycle and the role of the MARK VIe control system in ensuring safe and efficient performance. The study includes an introduction to gas turbines, details of the turbine’s components and auxiliary systems, and an explanation of the control system’s main functions like startup and shutdown. A simplified startup simulation is also presented. en_US
