dc.description.abstract ESP has become one of the most significant fields in higher education. As a matter of fact, English is learnt for many reasons which are due to a large variety of professions which request the use of ESP. The need to use English for specific purposes specialities has many characteristics. One of the reasons for learning English is for science and technology, therefore, ESP can be subdivided into two fundamentals sorts of ESP differentiated according to learners’ need. It means that ESP is divided into Academic study or for occupational purposes. As the Higher School of Applied Sciences comprises different branches of engineering more precisely Electrical Engineering; it is necessary to clarify and shed light on our English lectures. Therefore, we will explain and detail our lectures in the following handout. Understanding and mastering ESP is crucial for students in electrical engineering to excel academically and professionally. This handout outlines the structure and objectives of our English lectures, aimed at equipping students with the necessary language skills to thrive in their specific field. By focusing on technical vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and oral communication, we prepare our students to meet the demands of their profession and contribute effectively to the global scientific community. The present handout of Electrical Engineering module is composed of five units which are as follows: Unit One: Introduction to electrical Engineering Unit Two: Renewable Energies Unit Three: Electricity and Electronics Unit Four: Charts/ Writing a CV and Formal E-MAIL en_US
