The studyleverages digitaltwins forsystemoptimization inmanufacturingby developinga detailed digitalmodelandconductingsimulations.Itexaminesanautomatedsystemforbaseline performanceandahuman-centricmodetocapturereal-worlddynamics.UsingFlexSim,thestudy evaluates key performance indicators like WIP levels, utilization rates, and throughput. Findings show that while automation excels in efficiency, the human-centric approach offers flexibility and realistic operation management, highlighting the importance of strategic operator management and preventive maintenance. This demonstrates digital twins' value in optimizing manufacturing processesandguidingfuturereal-timeapplications. |
